New Zealand Best Awards finalists

We often act as digital partners for other creative agencies. It means we get to augment existing teams, providing specialist skills and an outside perspective. It also gives us the opportunity to work on projects anywhere in the world.


Two of the projects we worked on last year with Pitch Studio based in Auckland, New Zealand were nominated as finalists for the New Zealand Best Awards.

Media Design School

Media Design School is a private institution providing specialist industry training in 3D animation and visual effects, game art and programming, graphic design and other digital media subjects.

We'd worked with Pitch Studio maintaining the previous Media Design School website and so jumped at the opportunity to be involved in the redevelopment. Our role in the new project was assisting with the content architecture and content management system integration.

New Zealand Aids Foundation

Pitch Studio were approached by the New Zealand Aids Foundation to redevelop their book-a-test form, with the main goal of increasing the number of bookings and to raise awareness during HIV testing month. 

The digital strategy, design and front end development were handled by Pitch, and they called on Chief to take care of the content management, back end integration and booking submissions.

We made sure that every component of the page was content manageable - from the messaging and clinic details to the call-to-actions and on-page search engine optimisation elements.

The form was integrated with the back end database so that when users inputted their location they were dynamically presented with nearest clinic suggestions. Once the form had been submitted we saved the data to the database and sent email notifications directly to the relevant clinics, as well as a confirmation to the user.

The campaign was a huge success with the clinics receiving a 350% increase in online booking enquiries.
